Wii's are great for multiplayer but it can be a bit pants if you want to play by yourself, there are very few good single player games.

It does make me wonder what crytek have planned for the Wii U

Well the new console seems pretty good.

Also Nintendo has nothing like Xbox Live or the PSN so no hardcore base will ever be created on the Wii U.

My Aunts, Uncles and Grand Parents all have Wii's and they bought them with Wii Sports and they had a blast for about a month or two and now they're just sitting in their entertainment units doing nothing.

The Wii was a waste of money for everyone because all everyone did with it was buy it along with Wii Sports and played Wii Sports constantly for about a month and that was it and that'll be the same with the Wii U. They could pull off what they did with the Gamecube and release a lot of good First Party content but I have gotten bored of Nintendo releasing the same game over and over again. I know there is still a market for that however and Nintendo will exploit that like it always does.

Besides does anyone on this forum actually care about the Wii U? We all know the majority of hardcore games that are going to be released on it will also be available for PC so what's the point?

Uhm didn't the xbox 360 and ps3 recently come out with some new attachments to mimic those "innovative wii motes"? Kinect and Move if I'm not mistaken...

WOW you must know a lot of people to know that they all wasted their money on a useless console to play a sports game.

Last I checked, it would seem quite a few people here, and elsewhere are QUITE interested in the Wii U and what it has in store for us.
