Although, I would like to know something. The timing on those ram all seem to be the same. But I've also been looking at this set:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144
I've read somewhere that RAM timing is better when it's less. The timing on the Corsair Vengeance is 8-8-8-24. Wouldn't that be technically better? Or are the G.SKILL RAM kits that AMDrocks posted better?
Yes, for timings lower is better. The most important timing is the first, CAS. The difference between RAM running at CL9 and CL6 will show up in benches but isn't terribly noticeable in real usage like gaming.
I had issues with Corsair CL7 Dominators, their RMA is great though, but I'd recommend G.Skill here.
