Where is Sprint's evil?

Thread Starter
AT&T are pure evil.
Verizon are psychopaths.
T-Mobile are jerks.

So are Sprint the exception to the rule, or are they evil too? I haven't had many problems with them myself, and I've been with them for eight years. But I just know that they're doing something nefarious; every other carrier is.

They're probably cloning Hitler or something.

T-Mobile are jerks? Yet also have the highest rated customer service for all 4 providers. Okay.....

T-Mo is OK. For the price there is no better
I had to call them 3 times to get my MT4G for free instead of the $130 upgrade price
I know they could give me the free price but either the first 2 people did not know how or did not want to
I also feel that tech support is not very knowledgeable on certain things. sometimes i have to call multiple times for 1 issue hoping i eventually get a tech person who knows what they're doing.

The only beef I have with T-mob is semi false advertising. Website says truly unlimited, with the nice small subtitle text that says data speeds throttled after 2GB/month. Sure you're still getting it, and not getting charged more, but throttling is no good for those of us that use our 3g as our home internet!

Other then that, and for your average user, they have a very positive light in my mind.

Edit for OT:
Sprint has the evil smart phone extra fee of $10/month for their 'premium' data experience. Evil? Yes. Still the best deal for actual unlimited data? Yes. Their goods out weigh their bads for my usage scenario.

Sprint's evil is with its customer service. They hire practically anyone to do customer service, and I mean that quite literally. Down to the junkie with 4 kids and no teeth.

Calling Sprint is like calling a bunch of lobotimized crabs.... Or people with headcrabs...

I've never had issues with Verizon. As with any company you gotta play by their rules or they screw you. Everyone is hungry for money these days.

Last time you called them was?

I get stellar service, and they usually jump through hoops to make me happy when I call them with an issue.

Couple years ago. Had a girlfriend that was getting the run around on her bill (they charged her triple what it usually was, the itimized list looked essentially the same to the month before it).

Took us 6 calls to finally get someone who didn't have a headcrab.

I also had a job offer from them about 4 years ago. Walking around there was like walking into the DMV.... eck....

I've never had a problem with sprint/Nextel i signed up with Nextel in 2004 and switched to sprint a little over a year ago for the Evo 4G.

I would almost say they have bent over backwards for me. I had an issue with the USB on my evo and they sent me a replacement, that one boot looped so they sent me another before i even sent the original back. im having an issue with this one with the screen lifting off the body of the phone. This makes me sad as the only issue with the first was then usb port came loose after a year of me plugging and unplugging it for nightly charging and data transfers. i would consider my self a moderately heavy user.

on the comment of the tech support they have been great for me. the latest tech even went so far as to tell me to open a new account swap the phones via their site and return the one i got refurbished during their 30 day trial period.
