Thanks for the responses and your votes!

What is the memory of the GTX460 are you referring to?? Please take note, the only available is 2GB GTX460. Comparing the power draw, 460 draws more power compared to 6850. Since both would surely be bottlenecked by my system, price and performance wise 6850 would be a better pick. GTX560 is also way over my budget, just included (AGAIN) for comparison purposes, and just in case miracles happen and I can have the money needed to buy it. So 460 and 560 are more of just "gatecrashers" here.

Moreover, based on reviews, 5850 is cheaper + stronger compared to 6850? If I can find 5850 would that be the PERFECT choice?

bruno do you live within metro manila?

A GTX 550 or HD6770 would be a perfect match for your core2 e7200 and could play most of the games you listed at high settings 1440 x 900.
Check your PSU if it has 6 pin connector, the GTX550 and HD6770 needs it.

A generic PSU cant handle GTX460 or HD6850 so if you really want a card to max out games you will spend at least 2,500 pesos for a branded PSU unless you want to risk your new videocard.

Whatever you decide to buy, look for Powercolor, Sapphire or Inno3d. They are always cheaper than other brands but are also good quality.

I voted GTS 450, anything drawing more power then you will need a better power supply.

That's a 216w PEAK POWER PSU. I wouldn't go with anything over onboard with that, and even that's pushing it. Get a new PSU, and maybe a 5770.

Def gonna be needing a new PSU, generic PSU are never rated even close to what they are advertised at. New PSU and 5770 would be your best bet.

On a 216w peak power PSU?

I'm surprised that PSU is even still running and hasn't taken his rig with it yet honestly.

He has a 600W PSU, can someone tell me why he should change his PSU? it's really enough for all the cards he listed, actually 6850OC or 6870OC are all great choices for you, I've used a GIGABYTE 6870OC with windforce 3X cooler and UD materials, it's really nice for me to overclock and play whatever the games I want.
