The EK waterblocks are pretty much the best out there at the moment. They are both perfect for watercooling your 590.

The only difference between the two is the covering on them

Don't go with EK nickel blocks at this time. They've had some flaking issues recently.

Anything without nickel is good to go.

EK's been slipping, not just the recent nickel issues but there's been other ones too. Their control of quality has been... poor.

I'd recommend anyone else, Koolance, XSPC, Aqua Computer. Anyone.

Nickel isn't the issue. Nickel is safe. EK's nickel is the problem, they've used shoddy nickel plating.

if you want EK go with either of the ones above instead.

E: and yeah nickel in general is not the issue. It's EK's nickel plating that has had some problems.
