lol. I'm terribly sorry. Thank you for the suggestion, the red blacklight would be really cool.

Edit: I'm reading that the TG3 boards only have 2 key roll over D:

Is more matter than older v.s. newer PCB design than differences between models

http://www.deckkeyboards.com/forum/v....php?f=2&t=649

Obiously most of the used BL82 are old design.

Mine is from 2005 and is 2kro

Well guys, thanks for all the input. My friend finally sold me his model M, so I'm gonna break this puppy in and wait on buying a black/brown board.

The laser infill on the das keyboards tend to get darker very fast, in a few days for me. That's the reason I returned it. On the other hand, one key on my Filco Ninja is also starting to show the same wear, I don't even know how since I don't ever rest my fingers on the front face.

Pretty sure the Ninja's are laser etched as well.

If you noticed that the fonts on your key isn't as bright white as it use to then just use a clearcoat pen (found at your local car dealer) and cover it. If done well it shouldn't look no different then pad printed. Using a "pen" over a brush allows for a very thin layer of clearcoat that shouldn't distort the look of the keycap.

First time I read something about the ninja lettering teqnique.

Sound strange that Filco use the cheap pad printing on the classic keycaps, easy to worn, and they use lasered legends placed purposely in a place almost never touched.

To see if it is Laser etched see this link for lots of pics of what Laser etching should look like.

I'm pretty sure the Ninja is pad printed.
