Apparently, none of you have been mortared in a game before? Can't move, screen going crazy. This earthquake idea sounds cool but yea, I believe, after many times playing and probably dieing in a fire fight because some random earth quake happens. It won't be so good then. We'll see how the out come plays.

Perspective some of you lack it...

Earthquakes have been part of this game from the first trailer titled "Fault Line" which is why this is a topic.

Nerfing destructible environments is not a big deal, it's hardly even a nerf considering the game has not yet been released.
Perhaps the nerf of destruction coincides with the addition of earthquakes in multiplayer because stuff was just simply far too flimsy and easy to break, as previous posters and veterans of war have stated they don't break up and fall apart all that easy even under heavy fire fights.

Earthquakes do not render everything to dust there will still be cover (sometimes better cover) in rubble, they also stated quakes could be terrain deforming which would mean natural cover that bullets can't penetrate.

Earthquakes are not confirmed at all in multiplayer ( I hope they do it though otherwise they are feeding their competition with ideas).

The addition of weather and day/night cycles was originally my idea on the first page of this thread and anyone looking to contact me with big cheques can do so through this account

I mentioned it in a thread weeks ago

Earthquakes would be incredibly stupid IMO. How often do you see major earthquakes happen in the middle of battle. They are a rare event. If they are going to put Earthquakes in the game, they have to add Dinosaurs also.

I think we will see Dinosaurs, or no Earthquakes.

Hopefully not 2 Earthquakes though, because the number of Dinosaurs at that point approaches infinity. That would just be silly.
