Would this run Crysis 2 maxed out? - Page 13

Corsair H100 and H80 are brand new and top notch in the WC, and their price reflects it.

And ya that 920 does a good job it seems, didn't know it existed.

Mind you thats vs a C14 but D14 doesn't perform that much better.

The D14 is a tower cooler, and would perform much better than the C14, which I strongly believe is a top-down cooler.

You can't base a products performance judging by the pricing... The H80 is just an Antec 920 with a revised pump.

Well I just tried today, and im running CF 6950 @ 1.250V ~950CoreClk ~1400MemClk

I get ~50FPS on ultra with texture pack, and dx11 @ 1920x1020

When I try 3840x1020 I get ~10-15FPS lol

And god forbid I try 5760x1020... I would expect 5FPS

If your going to go 6950's. I would recomend them for the money. They run cool, and with fan controls from MSI-A I keep them under 65C @ 3840x1020.

Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: Just overclocked my 2600k to 4.1 on stock and I was getting ~15-20 FPS @ 3840x1020. Very playable.
My temps reached 70C though, sooo its back to stock clocks.

Good to hear He's probably getting a maximum of 3 screens... And that'll be waaay down the road. Not in the near future So I think he'll be good with a single or dual monitor setup on two 6950s. And ww'll go for a better CPU cooler since he saves a little money by buying the second GPU in time for BF3

Thanks for the facts and the info - very much appreciated!

+rep!
