Why buy the game when you can simply acquire a copy, and purchase a legitimate key for $10, instead of $50-60?
Based on how inflation works, games today should cost nearly 80-120 bucks alone due to how developers costs have gone so high. People can make a honest living off being a game developer when apart of larger teams.

Now as I think about it, I don't all oppose what some developers are doing. But locking content that was suppose to be in the game from the beginning is just a big no no. But it does not in any means should promote piracy as games from the get go should cost that much to begin with.

It's not ubisoft fault there just fallen the people who started this bull**** EA games. Soon every company well do this.

My question to these guys are if used games where a issue why didn't they implement this earlier when xbox had live or the release of xbox 360/ps3 why did it take them this long to realize this.

BS it's another way for them to make more money.

I was interested in the new Driver but this just killed it, I'd rather boycott them. Nearly all of there games are awful anyway.

Such a shame to see Ubisoft who developed an amazing FPS like Raven Shield, go down the tubes for the sake of DRM. And they destroy the entire Tom Clancy, and Far Cry series.

No, it's not. Do you honestly think the company hasn;t thought of that? They'll require verification of the original key from the disc to be input before you can obtain a renewal key. They're greedy, not stupid.

This does not bother me. Multiplayer has a real cost associated with more users. If they want to offload some of that cost to players with used copies that is fine by me. Single player, no way, but a fee for MP for players with used copies does not bother me.
