Much, much better. Albeit it may be a little dry for us overclocking lads, this power point makes pretty good sense if you are reading it from the perspective of a common user. I'd leave it the way it is and just add that Overclocking slide (maybe a picture of liquid helium cooling or something). Just showing a picture of something as cool as Liquid Nitrogen will garner interest from your fellow classmates, techies and non-techies alike (trust me on this).

Use this picture:

I updated the op with the 3rd version of the powerpoint, so now it includes the overclocking sections, any feedback on that section would be great

I would have to say that you are on the right track. I would talk about how you went about choosing the parts you chose, and then talk about what each part does and why they all work together. People love to see a presentation like this, and walk away feeling like they really learned something.

This, I would give a break down of all the parts and explain what they use. I don't think its so important to go over why you picked the parts that you did. This is about computers not your computer.

If you want people to pay attention to your project then you will want to draw them in. Talk briefly about how computers have progressed over the last 25 years. Since most people that you are graduating with will be in the 17-19 age range I'm sure they would be interested to see what computers were like back then.

I just think it would be more interesting to cover the progression of computers from one date to another. Also cover people like us that are enthusiast and like to over clock. I would cover the different parts of a computer and what they are used for and how those have progressed to become better.

I just think more people would find this more interesting then a computer build. People like us love these things but its not for the masses, so covering the progression would be much more interesting.

Very nice but a tip that my mother once told me is that, pretend like the people you are presenting this to have NO idea what so ever about what your explaining. I would've explain more in depth of what each part of the computer does and crucial things to remember like ESP when building a computer.
