as far as the guy running crysis 2 on extreme with one 460 he also has a cheap monitor with probablly a very low resoulition almost definetly not close to what your running on your monitor you would have to play on medium-medium high settings with no AA or AF
EVGA 570 compared to like a MSI 570 or a ASUS 570 <=== the same ? or which is better. EVGA 570 is cheaper, only about $50 more than my budget

the 470s are nice and cheap to SLI . $160 a piece. if i put $90 in per card. i can get a 570 . while with my budget, a HD6870 is good for my budget ... hmm . does the GTX 560 Ti perform better than the GTX 570 ?

No the 560ti is not faster than the 570 at stock clocks OCed yes but then you can OC a 570 as well.

The 6870 is a great card if you wanted to stay in your budget i would look at it its on par with the 470 and would allow for 2 cards on your mobo with out driver hacks

The difference between brands is minimal usually its the cooling solutions or clock speeds that differ sometimes theres more of a difference but for the 570s i dont think that there is

im trying to confirm whether or not a SLI driver hack would work on my board,

it was said that the GTX 470 is about the same to the GTX 570 right?

GTX 570 is just less power consuming and runs cooler ?

NO the 570 is atleast 20% better sometimes more not to mention it has a better min frame rate in most games

The 470 will come CLOSE if you get one that is a good OCer and overclock it like mad

Here man heres a GREAT review of all of the cards you are considering with alot of gaming benches

GTX 470 easily beats 6870. So the 6870 really sucks?

I would hardly consider anandtech a good review site.

GTX 570 vs GTX 470 Clock-For-Clock

In clock-for-clock testing (running at 825Mhz core, 900Mhz memory) the GTX570 asserts itself and manages a 6.9% lead overall, again dominating the Vantage benchmark. The difference in actual game performance leaves a bit to be desired though.
Most 470s OC very well, up to 850MHz on air, 900MHz on water.

Clock for clock the difference is around 7% (if you like playing benchmarks), the price is $90 less. You decide if it's worth it.
