Swiftech Apogee XT inlet

Thread Starter
I'm currently running an Apogee XT on my Phenom II however I am running the inlet 180 degrees from the original position because I didnt have any rotary fittings to clear my fittings. The temps are not quite what I was hoping for, and I will most likely replace my MCR360 with a black ice xtreme.
My question is, what kind of downsides is there from running the inlet in this configuration, would adding a 45 degree rotary fitting and flipping the inlet help me shave a little off my temps?

I flipped the plate on mine and noticed a difference. Definitely go with the rotaries, and leave the inlet directly in the middle of the block.
