0 to "Hero" : Log of what OCN can teach anyone to do in a month

So basically i joined OCN because i got a hold of the mouse ref guide and i was having a mouse crisis. I solved this and thats a WHOLE other rather large topic.... i digress.

I wanted to learn how to build a computer because the computer stores charged so much and everyone told me it was such a joke but i knew NOTHING. Now having heard of OCN I started on the path of asking a TON of questions and thank god some of these "stupid" questions don't get you banned here or I might not have the computer i have today.

It started with simple installation, software and hardware.
Evolved into OC on a hyper 212 at modest OCs
Now it has come to this....

This is my work log on making a baller (looking) computer through asking questions JUST on OCN and spamming people like RUSHMORE who were more then happy to help a paranoid newschool hardware lover such as myself.

THE LIST - pure aesthetic
-p67 sabertooth
-HAF 932
-Green UV tubing
-Compression fittings
-Barrys sleeving (he is the man)
-Fully modular 850w PSU (yet to come in mail)

rest isnt important...

Was also building my brothers computer but this is what my "computer building room" looks like

BARRY SLEEVING ARRIVES

I had a sleeving nightmare. The original PSU i had wasn't modular and I had originally ordered paracord. The paracord was a NIGHTMARE to put on so scrap that and some clean cut and double bagged sleeving from barry will do the trick of course I will need a new PSU that IS fully modular and so in comes the corsair AX850 (on its way to me)

on top of the bad psu, the sleeving tool to remove the power pins didnt work. FTWPC delivers the OG pin tool and it works like a charm

side note - i beg of you, LOWER PRICES ON SLEEVING i really wana buy some

WATERCOOLING NIGHTMARE

RUSHMORE can be attributed with 99 percent of helping me pick my parts
Lady Luck can be attributed with 100 percent of my nightmare

MCP355 top doesnt fit Bmavericks pump . Pump arrives and the screws wont fit in the pumps slots, too wide. I didnt know they were not in because they go past the plane of the hole but not deep enough and since i couldnt screw them in any more I assume, hey they are fine right? WRONG, even tho the O ring looks secure through the acrylic its not and the pump floods and dies . Order another from Bmav and an angry letter to Performance PCS and I'm on my way (should come today)

here are the fruits of RUSHMORES labor (kinda)

to add even more insult to injury the res doesnt clamp proper. I refuse to rma this as i have velcro and so a quick strip of velcro on each clamp and it seems even more secure then it would have been

will update hopefully later tonight when my pump gets here

please any suggestions dont hesitate to tell me!
