What do you mean by "folder/clear it's content at least". Basically I bought an SSD just to speed up boot times and a few select games and programs.

well if you bought a ssd, and don't want to fill it up with every program you install, you will need to install those programs to a different harddrive.

by creating a folder called "Program Files" on this other harddrive, its a nice tidy place to keep them.

due to the nature of windows, most programs add registry keys into the registry, so upon reinstallation any program that has been installed on that secondary harddrive, will be more than likely useless and need to be reinstalled, so you should remove the folder all together, or clear out its contents if you reinstall windows.

So tomorrow I get my second HDD I plan to move all the files I want to keep on to that drive, install windows on the SSD then connect the two other drives for storage space ( after wiping the two drives clean). Does that sound about right ?
