It's upgrade time! soon...

I have decided that since it is my birthday coming up (well, october) and i'll be getting my student loan in, i want to do my first bit of upgrading. My build is only just over a month old but there are certain things that I sort of overlooked in my build.

First of all, the case. I went budget of course because I thought that it wouldn't really matter as much as anything else but i've come to realise that this isn't the case. I'm currently using a coolermaster elite 335 which by no means is a bad budget case, there are just a few things niggling away. First of all there isn't much space inside so my choice of coolers is limited. Secondly, there are no cable management possibilities and because i have a non-modular PSU there are cables all over the place which (a) makes airflow a problem and (b) the case a complete mess and when it comes to doing something inside it, it's not easy.

I have looked around and have read a few reviews and for the price range i'm looking at, the HAF 922.

Are there any better ones out there for around £75 for what I want? (good cable management, good design and good airflow/size)

The second piece of kit i'm looking to upgrade is the CPU cooler. I love my Hyper 212+, it's great, but I think i've been blessed with a good chip and I want to push it to the magic 5.0GHz mark and maybe further.

At the moment I'm stuck between the NH-D14 and the Silver Arrow and currently swaying towards the NH-D14. I'm not really bothered about the price difference, I just want the best cooler (NH-14 top of the price range). I'm sticking with air cooling by the way. Is this my best choice?

And the third upgrade isn't a replacement, just an add-on. I want a good 24" monitor that runs at 1080p, has a good contrast ratio and a low response rate. I've come up with this Acer. It seems to fit the bill for a full £20 under my budget (£150). I do want the best screen for around $150 so if you have any ideas for better ones i'm all ears.

What do you think of my choices?

Also, what could I do with the old case and cooler? How much would I be able to sell them for? I have everything (inserts, box, original thermal compound etc) for the hyper 212+ and just the box for the elite 335.

Thanks for your input in advance!

The haf case is a good choice so I would get that

NH-d14 Is the better cooler imo

And the acer screen is very good for its price the only screen I know of that rivals it for its price is worth £221

You would get £10 for the hyper 212, But if you sell it on fleabay you can get more

And for the case roughly £20

Have a look at this monitor-

Its 120Hz, 1920 x 1080 and IF you fancy in the future....its also 3D.

I know this is above your mentioned monitor budget but as you wondered what the £221 one was i though i would show you this one.

That screen does look good, a little bit pricey though and I don't think i'm gonna be adopting 3D any time soon. Anything above £150 I will have to pay myself so the less the better!

Found this screen: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Monit...roductId=43898

Is it worth the extra £30? Looks like a good screen with a good contrast ratio and low response time. I haven't heard of the make though. Any help?
