Looks very good. But unless you are going to be rendering a lot of HD videos you should go with the i5-2500k. Save yourself $100.

Please change ur motherboard to Asus p8p67 deluxe. More phases and it's about the same price since u aren't gonna use dedicated graphics.

About the case I think it isn't a nice case and would get a Cooler master cm 690 ii advanced instead.

VRM power phases...provides more stability when OCing at extreme levels. TBH, the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO is overkill already with its 12 phases (Deluxe has 16). You can even go for the cheaper non Pro of that board since the only difference really is a couple extra SATA/USB ports and Firewire.

Oh and look into the Samsung F3 1TB drive instead of that Caviar Black

Are you talking about the Gb/s? Between 3.0 and 6.0Gb/s, there is hardly any noticeable difference on mechanical hard drives. Hardly any difference between 32MB and 64MB cache too. I'd say it's totally worth it.

As stated above I'd go with a 2500k and a ASUS P8P67 Pro for the motherboard. Maybe even the non pro version if you aren't going to overclock that much. Save yourself some cash.

Welcome to OCN mate,

You should definitely change your HDD if you're using it as a storage drive, get a Samsung F1 1TB (it's more responsive than a F3 but doesn't cost as much as the WD Black).

Also unless you really like the look of the Antec case, there are better options in that price range, just a few off the top of my head are:
SilverStone Raven RV02
NZXT Phantom
Silverstone Raven RV01
CoolerMaster HAF X
Corsair 600T (special edition)

Ok so i swapped out he case for a Coolermaster HAF X. will be going with the i5 2500k on a P8P67 Deluxe. I want to see how far i can push this little guy. Also going with the extra space(HDD) since the speed isn't much of a difference. i'll order everything tommorow and will update my progress as i build this up. thanks for all the advice and such.
