Buying sony vaio

hi all im buying my dads old work sony vaio, its this same model except 512 mb ram http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Vaio-VGN-TX...item45fbc6df30 125 dollars for it and a charger how does that sound? it has windows xp and 1.3 ghz processor also broken wifi antenna and id just use it for school and micosoft office, web browsing.

I'd say get in the habit of backing up your data.
That's not a bad price since I've seen older laptops for a lot more.
I'd suggest adding another 512mb of memory too and reinstall the OS if that hasn't been done. But it should work fine for what you need it for.
