Read that since you must have skipped over it the first time. By your logic we should all by Kias because they're cheap and its just a car after all!

this is my first time in this subforum, im gonna try get some recommendations for speakers.

things to note about what i have and what i'm looking for:
1. i have a killer sound system being a music head. but i dont want to have to turn on my big system with amps and mixer just to listen to a quick link on youtube or a download coz i forget and leave my system on wasting electricity. sometimes i even leave it on for hours or overnight.
and when i move my system to and from my gigs i don't want to have to hook it all up...

2. my main monitor has hdmi and i sometimes use the monitor speakers but they're not good for music. they are barely good for vocals. i think music can blow them. i dont want to risk blowing the monitor speakers.

3. im looking for something that has easy access to the power switch or can turn off with the computer. (this might not be too important. i can always get a power-strip to hook up everything i want off when i leave my computer/music room. but it'd still be nice to have the speakers off when i don't need them.)

4. i'm looking for something that has a little bit of a punch and can definitely go loud but not easily blow. it doesnt have to go too loud coz i can always turn on the big boys.

5. something that looks nice. i know looks might come with a price tag so i'm willing to pay a little extra for looks over something that packs a little more punch.

my budget is about $50-60. maybe $70.

Also, would you mind attempting to type out words correctly please? That is one of the few things that severely bugs me.
