This. It's a shame v1 is $40 more, when it's still the better choice for most people with a home server (who just want DE but don't need the other bits in v2).

Umm, this has been out for months (April for Technet/MSDN subscribers, March for manufacturer and 2-3 weeks ago for retail).

You mention a $10 off coupon but then don't post it?

This is going on worldwide, read about it somewhere forget where but, should go one for a while.I was doing some researching on WHS v1 & v2 and found out that there are a few 3rd party developers that are taking up MS position and providing DE like software. This particular one cost $ but its only $25 bucks. So at $50 to $60(2011) it comes out to be about the same price for the updated version. Which is what I think I'll end up going with...Family finds Amahi hard to work with.

There is about 3 different companies making replaccements for drive extender. Most are still in beta and I wouldnt use them until they are no longer beta and working correctly. I may pickup the new OS but wait until there is a good replacement for Drive Extender.

I am also waiting for to see how stable home server is, the first one had some bad issues with data loss. I wish they would add in a windows media center server add in.

You and many others.
MS did a great job on WHS, but really missed it with WHS 2011.
No Drive Extender and no WMC. 2 things I was really excited about when I first saw the Beta.
