Downloading atm. I beat it, exited, and started the DL immediately.

I hated the game for like a year, because I tried Noveria before any other worlds on my first playthrough... as a Sentinel.

Huuuge mistake, I think.

Haha, I actually didn't like it at first too. For me, it was mainly because I didn't like the game mechanics too much initially. They felt kinda sluggish and the guns had no 'oomph'. But then I sucked it up and got used to it and it turned out the game was awesome.

Got ME 2 and thought: FREAKIN AWESOME. Graphics are way better and when you shoot something, it really seems like theyre being SHOT. Plus the story is good

If you want to have some fun in ME1 there is a glitch with the doctor at the citadel. After you do the mission where you save her from the gangsters she gives you a discount at her store. She also buys items from you at inflated prices.

If you sell her a bunch of items and then leave and go down to the markets you can buy those items back for less than what she bought them from you for. It is very tedious with low priced items but once you get some decent level 5 or higher gear you can make 100K per trip easy.

Once you get specter gear you can make 2 million a trip easy. I used this glitch to get all specter gear for my entire team as soon as it became available. I'm only playing ME1 so that I can import a character into ME2.

Just keep in mind that you can only have 20 items in the buy back list. If you do more than 20 items the items at the end of the list will disappear forever.

Hm, nice. I may just have to resort to doing that, since items are so friggin' expensive to purchase.

I don't think specter gear becomes available until you have 1,000,000 credits. Once you get a level IX specter weapon you make lots more money using this exploit. Then you can buy 2 of them and sell and buy back both of those, then you can buy 3 etc. etc.

Once you have 20 level IX or X items you can make millions in a matter of minutes.

I also used a cheat where I edited the Xp penalty of the Mako. It usually gives you a xp penalty for killing enemies when inside the mako compared to being on foot. I changed the value in the INI file from 0.4 to 1000. I hit level 50 with the first guy I killed

It doesn't really make the game any easier because (I think) enemy difficulty scales with your level. It just unlocks the high level gear right away.

Hah. If you explore/scan every single planet and do all the side quests, you'll easily hit the currency cap (9,999,999) about 2/3-3/4 through the game. No point in using glitches.
Be sure to finish rich and at the level cap, preferably 60(it's normally 50, but finishing the game once unlocks the final levels). I think having 1mil+ counts as being rich, as per the achievement, but I'm not really sure. All I know is, having finished the game at the currency cap, I got a 100k bonus in ME2. I've heard you also get a cash bonus for importing a lv60 character (50k, IIRC), whereas the lv50 bonus isn't nearly as good. Now, that might not seem like a large sum, but credits in ME2 are scarce - you won't be able to get all the upgrades without these bonuses, or sinking lots of time into betting.
