I dropped $100 on the Shaedog Crystalline glasses after waiting 3 months on a list. They are not worth the money at all.. Made my eyes strain quicker, but that's just me.

...or maybe take a break once in a while...

If you need these you seriously spend way too much time on the computer. I spend many hours a day on the computer and I can do this without terrible eye strain.

I've heard you should stare at something 20ft away for ~20secs every hour or so. Basically give your eyes a chance to adjust to something farther away.

Hopefully you spend at least several waking hours somewhere besides the computer which is what your eyes really need.

I have a pair of Phenoms and I use them all the time. My work, other work, and school need me to be at a computer for hours at a time, and these definitely help. Flux is a nice program too, but if you have to work in true color, its not really an option. Not sure if they are worth the full $100 price tag, but i got a pretty good discount so they were worth it for me. They do have a slight magnification, which some people may find annoying or distracting, but after wearing them for a week or so, i could barely notice.

Madcatz sells a Gunnar made pair of glasses called the COD Gaming glasses. Its the same one that Gunnar makes and sells for $99-not sure which it's called.

You guys should check microcenter every now and then as they sell them for $29.99 every so often.

You can also get the same results as the glasses for very cheap. Get a $10 pair of reading glasses for magnification of text and then download flux.

I have the COD Gaming glasses and it does help with eyestrain a bit. I don't like so much the color changes though so I don't use it all the much.
