INDIE GAMES THREAD! Time for exposure - Page 2

My biggest time waster at the moment is Nation Red. If you're into numbing (but hardcore challenging) arena shooters, and competing on leaderboards then this is a great game.

The game is updated often with user suggested content and balance changes. Basically SnowBridge (the dev) is on the forums keeping tabs on his creation

Cool.

I though you meant Dead Nation for a moment searched it up and found some gameplay of it on youtube [Dead Nation that is] Only to find out that it was a Ps3 exclusive.

Nation Red however looks abit too rugged and rough around the edges but if you know any games that look like Dead Nation then please holla.

The game is pretty polished actually. Bugs are non-existent for the most part...

If you're referring to the graphics, then yeah... Source engine does have limitations. The textures are meh, but the animations are fluid.

Dead Nation is okay... Played it for a bit at my friend's place. The control scheme was kinda awkward :/

1916 - Der unbekannte Krieg

A 5 week project, made by danish students at DADIU (Danish National Academy for Digital Interactive Entertainment)

You are a German soldier and awake in a trench during WWI. Your aim is to escape from there as fast as possible.

You find letters and notes that are in German, to add to the atmosphere. Game menus are either in Danish or English.

Pretty claustrophobic fps, it can be finished in less than 10 minutes.

Plus, it is free

That said , ill include some flash games:
Sonny/Sonny 2 TBRPG , some of the best in-game battle soundtracks ever with a pretty in-depth skill system.
Need for Madness - carmegeddon flash
Bowmaster - 2d tower defence
Infectonator - kill millions with zombies
Pandemic - same as the above , except more tactical and on a global scale is what i can desribe it as
MacDonald's Adventure - RUN THE WORLD'S LARGEST RESTAURANT!(into the ground)

These are some of the more memorable ones i remember , there are tons of gems in flash games , though its appearance can be rare
