How about this.

CPUi5 2500K
Mobo(No idea)
RAMG.Skill F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT or some Ripjaws 1600, any 8GB @ 1.5V they have when I purchase.
HDDSamsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
SSD (64-90GB for OS <$175)
GPUHD6850
CASESomething sleek ~$170 (got a few in mind)
PSUSilverstone ST75F-P 750W PSU (maybe 850W only $30 in it)
OSWin 7 64bit

- I think I'll ditch the GPU when the new series comes out and get a new one.
- I was wondering what MOBO's you guys can recommend? I want it to have SLI capabilities (x8/x8 at least) and to be ~$200. I would also like one that is going to work with Ivy and is easy to overclock (the asus and asrock one touch overclock features and UEFI sounds perfect for this?)

Thanks for any suggestions

get a better gpu like HD6950 or HD6970 (5870 if you want HD5xx0 series) and don't wait for new versions
all thighs are good but even my HD5850 if more powerful than HD6850

The only people I've seen complain about them are on AMD set ups. Though maybe I've just missed the Intel ones?

As the knight said above there are many complains of them
the main reason is that they cpu power supply on board are not good (Especially when you use 100% cpu power) they are not efficient
also in a world where you can buy asus mobo it is not so going on wisdom to buy msi mobo (like buying a Kia motors or a Hyundai instead of Mercedes-Benz or Lexus)

The 6850 is just as a cheap solution for a few months while I wait a few months for the new series. I might go something bigger, I'm not sure yet

What brand of Mobo has the easiest overclocking, like the programs that require 0 effort for a nice overclock on air
