GTX 260 Core 216 SLI Question

Well, I've had my 2 260's for about 2 years now..it seems that DX11 is coming pretty fast, what with Skyrim and ME3 just around the corner, seems like sooner or later I'll have to upgrade again. So what do you think? Would I take a power hit if I went from my SLI set up to a single 560 1GB card (with the future intention of SLI again of course)? Or would I still see a slight increase with the single GPU? Anyone have a better recommendation for a new card from my current set up.

A little info, I don't play on any monitors bigger than 24" so that should help with how much power I do/don't require (My current monitor is 23"). Thanks!

You would see a nice increase with a 560 Ti. I would really recommend either a 6950 2GB or GTX 570 though. Remember to check Newegg's open box deals, they had a GTX 580 today for $245.

What about Tri-SLI for now? I can get another 260-216 card for under $100 giving me 3 GPU's. That should hold me another year and gives me 3 to sell later on. I understand I lose out on DX11 stuff, but not much is hitting the shelves just yet. Any suggestions ?

I'd just sell the 260s you own currently, and then go grab yourself a 570. Tri-Sli isn't worth it, iirc.
