Halo 2 Laggy

Thread Starter
I have got Halo 2 on PC and when I play it, its incredibly laggy even in the menus at a resolution of 800x600. The PC that I an playing it on is my sig rig, I know that I have got an intergrated graphics card/chip which is partly to do with why it is so laggy, but thats not really the problem. The problem is that I have played it on my sisters laptop and the hardware is worse than the hardware that I got now. My sisters laptop hardware is:
AMD Turion x2 64 @ 2.8Ghz
4GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470

On her laptop I could run Halo 2 at a resolution of 1920x1080 at around 15-25 fps on my PC its running at around 3-5 fps at a reolution of 800x600.
At the moment with the game running the CPU usage is
core 1: 60-75%
core 2: 0-5%
core 3: 0-6%
core 4: 0-4%
My sisters laptop also has the same OS as my PC.

5470m is probably greater than your integrated.

Check your bios, there is a chance that you can increase the memory allocated to the integrated chip. You might see some performance increase there.
