death adder or g500 are my favs for lower sensitivity, whats comfortable in your hand is far more important than other factors that can be adjusted to imo.

Cheers.
Check the link that Derp posted a few posts up, on optimizing your mouse for BFBC2. You can edit the game's .ini and .dbx files for each mode, to independently set your sensitivity for each task; infantry, land, air, as well as the camera (UAV, turrets, mounted weapons). Believe me, it is worth the time and effort to tweak each of these settings. The reward of this tweaking is that you don't need to switch DPI at all during the game. You can jump in and out of vehicles, man or leave mounted weapons, etc. and will automatically always have the right sensitivity. It's then one less thing to worry about, in the heat of battle, where fractions of a second count. Obviously, it makes sense to find an empty server to run around in and try things out, so that the vehicles and mounted weapons are available and you're not being shot at. Plus, you have to exit the game, to edit the .ini and/or .dbx files, and then restart the game. I'm using 800 dpi for everything.

I whole heartedly agree with this statement. You can get a Naos 3200 which is the same shape for about $70.

any chance can someone recommend a mouse for fps/rts & sandbox games for £60-70? i understand the higher the dpi (often) the better it is.

I'm a huge fan of all Coolermasters mice, for feel, build quality and performance.

It's very hard to recommend a mouse because you know instantly if a mouse is for you or not when you hold it, best thing I can recommend is to hold a few a test them out.

IMO the best mouse I have is the Coolermaster Inferno, everything about it is top quality.

One of my fav things about it is that even after having it for so long the wheel mechanism is just still so perfect, great feel on every single rotation notch.

Good luck.
