USB devices take long time to initialize after windows boots (P8Z68 v-pro)

Thread Starter
Hey all, has anyone experienced this? When I boot into windows, my USB devices take around 45 seconds to respond. everything else in windows will be booted up, but mouse/keybord/external HDD don't do anything. Eventually they make the sound like you just plugged them in and start working. I have everything plugged into the 4 black ports in the back.

My USB internal card reader causes the boot to go from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

Mine did this too. Clear your bios. Not just reset: take the battery out, wait a minute or two, put back in. Theoretically shouldn't change anything if you put all your settings back the way you had them in the bios before, but it fixed it for me. Just a thought.
