Haha, dont have preference. Whatever is better on the market ill get, had an AMD Athlon when they destroyed intel back in the day lol.

Currently it seems intel is the best for gaming and i don't think that the added cores make a big difference unless you're folding or something.

EDIT: For you non-believers, the 8 core Bulldozer is 50%+ faster and more efficient than the Phenom II's. Bear with me now....

50% faster than the X6's... and that's measure in total GFlops (you know, how many total calculations it can do in a second) not just how fast each core is
That doesnt mean itll beat an i7 or an i5 in gaming and it doesnt mean itll Oc well enough to compete with an OC'd 2600k

yea yea, use your big words and argue however mcuh you want.
i will agree with you that the SB chips have amazing overclocking ability.
im using a Phenom II 965 Black Edition and i can only get from 3.4 to 4.095 (trying to puch for 4.2 but it just doesn't wanna seem to stay stable )
but hopefully AMD decides to go back in time when they used to be badass and fix this whole "sitchyation" they're in now.
