[NC]Review HP Pavilion dv6-6110eg (Llano) Notebook - Page 2

Here is a Toshiba A6 going for $549... Seems like a decent deal.

http://www.logicbuy.com/deals/toshib...top/32771.aspx

What I would really like to see is a A8 with a SSD and a 1680x1050 screen! Anyone seen anything like that around; I will admit I haven't looked very hard.

Thats pretty good actually, especially for the price, even I am checking out which laptop to buy for college, something that can run games nicely too, so far i decided on the MSI GT683 with a gtx 560m :- http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT683.html

Before that i saw an HP model similair to this, the HP Pavilion dv6-6017tx :-http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en/ho/WF06b/321957-321957-3329744-64354-64354-5048664-5077080.html

I heavily dislike all the bundled crap HP puts in their computers/notebooks. I mean seriously- if there's an option to opt-out of all of their services, then it could be a decent value.

The graphics are much better with a Llano laptop, however the CPU part of the APU is about as fast an i3. It's still impressive for a laptop in the $650-800 range.

Prices range from about $650(other brands I have seen on newegg for $480 with a A4 APU),it's about $1,100 when you configure it with the fastest A8,8GB ram, dual graphics,HD screen, and 7200RPM HDD.
