Palm Grip Gaming Mouse, $100 Budget, FPS Gaming - Page 2

The G9x comes with both a fingertip grip and a palm grip and I use both. It is a bit on the small/medium side. I love it so much I will probably not try another mouse until they come out with the next in the G line.

The G9x has 5% build in acceleration but in real-world terms I have not had it effect me at all. I think Sniping is where you would really feel it and I snipe people like crazy per death. The side buttons could not be more perfect. The middle button is a little pain in the rump though so I use it for Mute. The wheel clicks left and right and are very usable in-game. Something to think about. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104261&Tpk=g9x

The Deathadder is good if you have big hands. Don't get a wireless mouse.

I say save the cash and get a DA Black.

I have a Black, a g9x with all three grips and a msie3.0. Depends on your hand size but the g9x isn't really a palm mouse and has a few annoying quirks (heavy weight, accel, side buttons, middle button). The Black is basically perfect for a large palm mouse. Perfect sensor, good side buttons. It does pick up gunk though, the matte turns a shiny black with god knows what.

Maybe one of the RAT mice? They can be adjusted for palm or claw and look very well ventilated due to the modular design

This... I was REALLY looking at one to replace my G9 when I bought my G19 a few days ago. That said... my G9 wasn't dying, so, I couldn't justify it. But damn is it sexy/awesome.

If I do get a DA again, it will be the Black Edition one which has a Matte finish.

I am just trying to decide whether to get another DA or try something else out.
Just thought I'd like to give you some helpful input: I had the same sweat problem with the rubberized finish on my Mionix Naos so I bought the DA Black Edition. I was pretty scared that even the matte finish could possibly not solve my sweat problem, but I was very happy to find that I have very minimal to no sweat now. The finish on it feels awesome although the only gripe I have about it are the stiffer click buttons compared to the other mice that I have used.

I just dropped my Cyber Snipa Stinger and it landed scroll-wheel-first on top of my subwoofer. Scroll wheel wont click now, so I ordered the RAT 7 a couple days ago. I've been eying it since it came out though.

Maybe your G9 could have an...accident?

Either the deathadder or MX518/G400/G500. Both are great designs for palm grip and which one you choose should depend on what you need out of a mouse.

Review of the 5000 dpi version
My friend has this thing (5000 dpi) and I love it whenever I use it. It has a little pinky rest on it and it feel wonderful. It makes me wish I had one.

As for the G 500, i have that and it was a great mouse also. I bought an Imperator one day out of impulse and I love that mouse too. I like the 5600 dpi and now I get annoyed when I try my G 500 because it's not as sensitive.
