Conky goes away when clicking desktop. How do I prevent? [Solved, LXDE is the issue]

Heres my .conkyrc file. I've played with this for several days, and decided to ask you guys how the heck I get it to stop disappearing when I click my desktop. What the fiddlestix am I missing? I've read http://conky.sourceforge.net/docs.html lots and lots of times now, and I guess it might be in there, but I don't understand several parts of it.

What am I missing?

Code:

Two things you can do.
Change own_window_class Conky to own_window_class conky-semi

Also add this line:

own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager

Did it. No dice. Although I don't understand the
Code:
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager
at all, I put it in there exactly like that. The whole thing just seems unaffected by these changes.

Anyone have a .conkyrc file I can see that has it locked to the desktop, where it does not disappear when the desktop is clicked?

You might have to remove certain options to get it to work. Conky doesn't like it when you have certain things specified that don't exist, causes a segfault.

Code:
# set to yes if you want Conky to be forked in the background
background no

cpu_avg_samples 2
net_avg_samples 2

out_to_console no

# X font when Xft is disabled, you can pick one with program xfontsel

My latest one with the CPU options removed due to being taylored to a quad core. Just add cores and change the cpu#, easy crap. (should work, no need for tweaking)

There are a couple links I found regarding LXDE + conky - seems like you are not the only one having trouble!

It sounds like it has something to do with the PCMan file manager - maybe switch to OpenBox. /shameless plug

I have Openbox, LXDE, and KDE as startup choices. I might be restarting X into Openbox... Its a bit of a shame though... LXDE is fantastic!
