Need a B I G Case to hold......

Thread Starter
Need a case to hold the following, this is a friends PC not mine, hes a bit eccentric.

2 BluRay Burners
2 DVD-R burners
1 Sata trayless dock
2 Fan Controllers or 1 (explain below)
8 internal HDD bays or combo
EATX motherboard
spots for 7 Delta 45W 120x38 Fans (yes crazy)
Room for a Silverstone 1500 PSU

Ive only found one FC that supports 60W per channel but its a 5 channel only so I would need to mount 2 of them to make a total of 7, if there is a single FC that can control 8 50W channels per that would be ideal.

I showed him a Xigmetek big daddy the 220$ one but said not enough bays.

Only one I think that could hold that much. Why does he need 4 opticals AND a fan control (I dont even think that those delta fans are controllable)

I second the case-labs suggestion. Or one of the bigger mountain mods cases.

FC 8, control 8 fans @ 30w each Link

Also if you get a high enough wattage per channel controller you can double up fans per channel, such as controlling 2 fans per knob.

I was thinking a CM Stacker could hold that many HDD and 5.25" drives, but what are all the delta's for? where are they to be placed?

CM Stacker for consideration anyways..

He wants to use 7x45wt fans. It would burn the FC8 right off the bat. He'd need a 90wt controller to do more than one of the Deltas.

Case labs, mountain mods, Danger den double wide (very nice cases) too.. any uber giant tower or cube shaped case pretty much your only options..

Is there any fan controller than Lamptron FC2 that can handle more than 45W per channel? Curious to find out about it...
