Xfx is the one company I always make sure to avoid. There are other companies that does the same bs xfx does but not to the extent xfx does. Honestly tho this is partly ur fault bro, u knew about all the horrer stories and u still bought it. I always laugh my a$$ off when people recommened xfx like they good or something. Sorry to be mean but ido wish the best for u tho. Hopefully because of this thread maybe they will fix ur card.

Seems like the stories about XFX RMA's just keep coming. The only 2 cards I've owned were with them--just for the warranty. Think that might be changing though.

When I needed a new fan for my XFX 8800GT they sent me a new fan + heatsink assembly for free even though my card was not even registered for warranty... never had any problems with XFX.

I think anyone who thinks this won't happen to them is in for a surprise. This can happen to anyone and you'll be left with an empty hole in your wallet with nothing to show for it.

Where's a good place to start an online petition or whatever? Let's get this rollin' boys.

I'm perplexed. There are anomalies between the 2 that I can't toss to "lighting and angle" but at the same time there are similarities that I cannot attribute to them trying to make it look the same(too much and too detailed an effort to even be remotely a realistic possibility).

What are the certain indicators, if you don't mind telling me? I have received the same card (S/N) just now, and its pictures are uploaded.

I have one card with them that's going well so far. My biggest complaint is speed. They've now had it deemed faulty and I've been waiting "for a technician to contact [me]" about how to proceed for two business days.

On the second card, I'm going on the third day without response after requesting an RMA.
