There's basically no proof from either end.

But yeah, even if the EXIF on the pics has dates that line up with his UPS ship date, the way those pics were taken don't make them irrefutable proof. Taking the pics at the UPS store with a few wide shots showing the store interior would have done it though, XFX would have no way out. It would be their problem or their claim with UPS.

In general you shouldn't have to fight so hard with a company when reasonable efforts were made to prove your card shipped undamaged, its poor customer service and bad for their PR.
This. We shouldn't have to but this is the reality. Come to think of it, if the card was defective from day one like the OP said he should have returned it. That too would be obvious no?

This is hilarious. So even if XFX did legitimately deny warranty on grounds of physical damage (which I don't agree with in this instance), they sent it back more damaged than they received it!

Not sure why a rep signed up, XFX reputation is so tarnished that it doesn't matter. I'm glad they stopped making Nvidia cards, at least people won't have to deal with their terrible support. I have nothing against AMD/ATI, but if they produced cards for both Nvidia and AMD we would be looking at even more threads like this. From the non reference 4890 PCBs, to warranty denials, to putting on void if removed stickers on their cards (which only applies outside of North America btw, how is that fair? Can't Europeans replace a cooler? Only North Americans can?) I can't wait to see XFX completely stop producing GPUs. I hope you read this Mr XFX support rep.

After looking into this, I can say I don't believe the card was unjustly rejected, at the end of it all, its still physical damage to the electrical components and or pcb itself, which again, is just about the only thing we really frown upon during the RMA process.

However, there were some mistakes made on our end, primary the original packaging was discarded, and pictures of the box and the internal packing material were not taken, which is normal protocol for something like this. For that reason I will work to get this unit replaced.

Ill have to work on the details tomorrow morning.

You can't even refer to the member correctly. His username was NCspecV81, not NVspec. Not making yourself look very competent...

Well without admitting any wrongdoing, thats still a good outcome for the customer. Unfortunate that it took a thread like this to get noticed, I'm still not clear if OP contacted a manager or not before posting here. Either way, thread solved for the OP I would say. Good decision XFX.

After what i have received by PM and what XFX has done here in public, i can say i will no longer by xfx. At first it was a knee-jerk reaction, now that the xfx rep has confirmed what i was told, i will have to stay away and recommend for all my friends and family to stay away....not looking forward to having to RMA my PSU if i ever do...atleast its made by seasonic and not actually XFX.
