New Carbide 400R photos - Page 6

George, I wish you could have the option to view full size pics on the site, rather than faffing around with zoom, its most annoying.

On to the case itself, well, when I can find an excuse to buy another case, one of these will be mine, you've done a bloody brilliant job on them, the only thing I'd like to see would be those nice door buttons, but I understand they've been taken off to cut costs.

Great to see Corsair listening to its customers and entering this section of the market : )

Will a side panel window be available and how soon from when the case is released?

The side panel window is something we're looking at different options on right now. We'll definitely produce something, but it's a matter of time. We're probably going to be later this year before we see it offered, as right now there are a few leading ways to go about it.

One question - with a side panel window, would you want to keep fan mounts? And if so, how many?

Judging by how bad the cooling was in the 600t, I would recommend at least one fan mounting spot by the GPUs. However, with the ability to mount 2x120mm right behind the GPUs we may not need a window.

I don't want fan mounts if the case can be cooled well enough on air. From the looks of the case it should be fine though without side panel fans

my thoughts exacttly with the amount of fans you can add besides the side and the layout i dont see why it wouldnt be a good cool case

side fans are good with filters

if not, they are a no go

with my old Scout with side fans, the GPU temp was great if I clean the fan every 3 days

if not it pass a LOT of dust directly to the GPU, making with time a worse cooling method
