Yep. I ain't that stupid. Instead of hitting the heat off on one front, why not hit it off at 2 fronts?
After taking out my 9800GTX+, my temps PLUMETED! I mean dropped like a rock. use to idle at 36C, now I am doing 28-30 (depending on ambient, which those temps are ambient
) and while playing BC2 at 975 1.050v I was hitting no more than 50C. I looped Crysis 2 maxed out with 16Q AA and was getting no higher than 52C tops after 10 runs.
Bumped it up to 1000 1.087v to see what I can do. I will try running here and see what happens. If anything I will bump the card down voltage if things are fine to see if it likes it
Also the card was dropping thanks to the weight of the AXP, so I added a book and a marker holding the card up to stop fan rattling XD
