Northbridge hot as hellllll

does anybody have an MSI nf980 g65 mobo?
i am looking for some blocks to throw on it.
any suggestions for some universal blocks would be awesome.

i have been looking at:
http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...p?cPath=29_108

to use with:
http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=660
(or the bigger one)
if anyone has any experience with these any insight woul be great.

The ones i was looking at are not the only ones i've seen, i was looking into some others that look much like CPU blocks and am curious as to whether those work well or not (i am using compression fittings; i heard most of these types were too small for compression)

And now the biggest question....does anyone know if they just have some full blocks for board...that would be much much MUCH better than having to fiddle with universal crap.

thanks guys

the block you linked is for the VRMs. If you want to cool your chipset, get this.
http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=662
or this.

yea i've heard a lot of bad about the nf980's heat problem...mostly about MOSFETs exploding and such. thing is, i really wanna start pushing my clock but i'm scared to kill the board in a murderous hailstorm of fire....

ooo sorry i also forgot to mention in origional post that i need something that isn't crazy friggin restrictive. im running 1/2" tubing for a reason

mine would get scorching hot(along with the mosfets, which where linked) ruining my overclock, I ended up using a 80mm mounted with paper clips directly over the heatsinks for them. I intend to use three 120mm case fans to move enough air through my p180 once I have some spare monies

Bump!
I'm also looking for something to replace this stupid heat pipe. My NB runs around 60 idle/70 load and anything over 2400 is a no go. I want to get the Sapphire set for my NB and CPU, but I'm not entirely educated on VRM blocks. Here are some pictures from my last tear down with visible measurements:

It looks like 4 2/7 inches converts to 10.795 centimeters. Call me paranoid, but that block is only 5.9 cm long, it doesn't seem like it would cool something almost twice it's length correctly.

Thanks btw, Hazzeedayz!!

That will cover the entire VRM's according to Koolance. Just an FYI for all those that Googled themselves here, and the OP if they're still around.
