Thread Starter
Computer was on Folding at full load on both GPU and CPU and it accidently got unplugged. Now 2 out of the 4 USB 2.0 and all of the usb 3 ports and the ps2 port aren't working. What do I do? Should I RMA it?

I went into BIOS and disabled the USB3 controller since it wasn't being anyway.

Power down the computer.
Unplug the power to the PSU.
Press the power button to discharge.
Wait a minute or two to be safe.
Press the Reset CMOS button
Plug power back into PSU
Power on Computer.

If this doesn't work then you most likely fried it.

Most of the time when something like that happens, USB quite working or On-board lan quits, then later on it could be the sound chip or the NB or anything else, if u can RMA it, it would be wise to do that. I have had multiple computers I have worked on where the on-board sound quits, then its the Lan port, then few months later, the on-board video quits.
