Will either of these run Civ 5?

Thread Starter
I know Civ V isn't the most resource intensive game, but I've been out of the loop on laptop parts for a while now, and was wondering if this laptop would run Civ.

Also, I have an old pentium E2200 with 2gb of ram laying around. If I were to add 2 more gigs of ram, and a video card, would that be able to run Civ? If it could, what video card would be required. I don't wanna spend too much money on this.

Thanks.

From what I see the laptop has Intel HD Graphics?
If so It may run with everything on low with some lag.

On your E2200 you might run it on medium settings with HD5850/GTX460.
that cpu is very old for gaming now.

You would be surprised... Civ5 is more intensive than you think.

I play on a laptop as well:
Intel Duo 2 2.4ghz
4gig ram
NVIDIA Quatro NVS 140M

and it is all I can do to play it on minimum settings without it freezing or dropping randomly. In fact now in order to play I have to play in strategic mode in order for it to be less intensive.
