Razer Abyssus

Thread Starter
I currently have a Razer Abyssus, and IMO it is a great mouse and really goes well with my Razer Goliathus Control Edition... Some people have complained about the scroll wheel, saying that it squeaks, yet I have had no such problem. I run my mouse @ 3500 dpi, and have found no such sensor related problems... I mean I get get off quite a few flick shots ! I am not into all of the extra buttons and what not, just a good plain gaming mouse... Is my Abyssus ok?

As long as it does what you want it to and does it well, then it's fine. I like my Abyssus.

Ummm yes? You're clearly enjoying your new mouse, you don't need someone else to tell you its "ok".

But has anyone actually experienced problems with the sensor?

lots and lots including myself have returned the mouse because it jitters on some cloth pads. Some people claim the problem doesn't exist with theirs though. If you haven't noticed anything wrong yet then you should be fine.

Well I guess if it works well on my pad, it must make for a good mouse for me...

I play a lot of TF2, and I usually go for a 3500dpi/~2.5 sens... I prefer that to standard configurations, and makes for a good scout/sniper flick shooting setup

I used one for over a year on both Goliathus control and speed editions, the mouse was fine, the mousepads... not so much.
