Corsair 800d - Great Design but lacks the quality control - Page 2

I reckon it was just really bad luck for you :/

Usually the Corsair Obsidian 800d is praise a lot, it shouldn't really be used for air-cooling systems.

It's pretty much bad luck for you, it's just your case got shipped badly or the condition was already bad.

Extreme win. Really the issue sounds like a Newegg problem rather than a Corsair problem. And despite that fact Corsair will make the issue go away for you!

I think the retailer will be getting a series of polite phonecalles. Bad for Corsair's rep if the retailer is messing around.

I bought a brand new motorbike a while ago and every once in a while I'll get a phonecall off them asking how well the dealership is performing and if I had any issues, how well and quickly they were resolved. Same thing I reckon. You don't want a bad reseller tarnishing your name.

I stripped one of the thumb screws that holds the L bracket of my dual slot video card, because quite frankly, the steel that those screws are made off is just way too soft. Can I get a replacement?

Well now I'll think twice and stick to Corsair. I'm sold on customer support haha. Now the question of whether I really need the 800D or 700D...
