IS this a new way to bash the only company that gives customer's computers without 1000 programs of bloatware, free trials, and a HUGE startup file? Is that it?

I don't know why people want a cheap apple product... it'll be cheaply made if it was under 600 bucks.

BMW's are expensive cars... would u want a 10 grand brand new BMW?? it would be gutted. The reason why BMW's are so great is because the quality/ performance and beauty of it. Same as apple products, when you see 1 beside a Hp/asus/Alienware ect... you're gonna look at the apple one first. People are willing to pay for performance and looks.

BMW's are not that great though. They always come out with overcomplicated computer gadgets that do nothing useful. They could not create a cup holder that does not break to save their lives. Also the radiator and thermostat always break all the time.

Also BMW have looked like curvy garbage ever since 2004.

My little brother had one of his best friends die in a newer model BMW that caught fire. He was drunk and left a party to go pass out in his car. He put the keys in the ignition so he could listen to music and passed out. Authorities think that after a few hours something in the wiring overheated and caught fire. He died of smoke inhalation. His parents are currently trying to sue BMW over it.

You would never think that a newer model BMW would kill you when you just try to sleep in it and play some tunes...

Likewise my GF's Macbook Air has been a total piece of crap. I have had to replace the RAM and hard drive in it. So much for quality...

Exactly. You're paying for the brand. A Infiniti, Lexus,or Mercedes Benz is a much better value.

I call bullcrap on that.. you know the Ram and H/D is soldered on the Logic board right?? LOL and the ram isn't your normal So-dimm ram...it's made for the logic board

also... the mac air been out less then a year, i'm thinking you're talking about last years model... which is still under apple care.. you can get it fixed for free

No, the HD is not soldered on. This is a 1st gen Macbook air (2008 i think, maybe 2009). You are correct about the RAM though. It was an entire logic board replacement.

The hard drive uses a ZIF (zero insertion force) IDE ribbon. But not the normal one. this one has a different number of pins than the standard ZIF IDE ribbon... It was a pain in the ass finding a replacement hard drive. And no it was not still covered under apple care. We checked...

And just in case you think I'm BSing on the BMW story here is the proof. I'm from Salina.
