Will this replace your/my favorite, IDK maybe. Its looking good!
Isn't ceramique like the super cheap I just need something better than the crap that comes with the CPU TIM?

Why didn't they compare it against AS5?

Ceramique is one of the most popular for sub-zero temps & pretty much the best to compare to. As5, shin etsu, etc. are terrible when frozen.

Probably won't be long before some reviews with standard cooling.

Seems like a decent review to me.

The TIM is mainly marketed for sub-zero, so it was tested on sub-zero. You can't easily test the core temps while sub-zero, a probe would need to be embedded into the IHS or something similar. Even if the EVGA TIM was tested on air and was the most horrible air TIM imaginable, then it would still "pass" because it does well at what it was designed for.

Ceramique was used in comparison b/c it's widely used among benchers for it's ounce/$ ratio, you can get a ton for cheap. Benchers make a lot of mounts with CPUs and GPUs...so having a lot of TIM is nice. This is where the EVGA paste may fail, some benchers may still choose Ceramique b/c of how much you get for the money.

Ceramique is not that bad. Only 1 C worse than MX-3 from my experience. Ceramique is pretty good stuff for those who go sub-zero. I got my 20g tube of Ceramique for only $6.
