It is times like this I wonder about Chinese taste in Color and Fonts although the difference in lettering contrast is rather striking.

Yea, the lettering on the noppoo is like a dark brown, not very visible in dim lighting.

I just picked up a filco m2 ninja and think i like it a bit more than the noppoo choc mini I had be using up until then.

The noppoo has slightly strange keyspacing, which takes some adjusting and the filco has more solid feeling switching/keys, must be something bout their pcb/mounting design. The filco is definitely slightly higher quality than the noppoo, although i really enjoy using both of them.

Both of mine use mx browns.

Noppoo has released a second version of their mini with much lighter lettering. I saw a few on ebay but can't seem to find them anymore.

I was really wanting the noppoo, but not working in linux is an issue for me.

It's macos that is buggy.

@ChoboGuy, I mainly play MMO's and RTS'. However, I have a Filco Ninja that works fine with MMO's. I'd imagine the KBC would be better for SC2 and other RTS' because I dont have to reach as far keys because of the smaller size of the keyboard.

@ripster, You arent a fan of the white on brown ala the Choco? I know there are aftermarket keys out there but its a nice change of scenery from the typical white on black.

F1 to F12 are function keys on the number row of the Poker. You have to press the Fn key and whatever number needed at the same time to use the F keys. Assuming that you use your F keys as hotkeys for your skills in MMOs, that would seem pretty annoying :T

Im not a big function guy. Had a BW and the reason I hated it the most was the large amount of FN keys and macro keys. The only mmo I play atm is rift anyway and they have in game macro keys.

Haha I'm sure the Poker is still quite plausible for gaming but the Noppoo just makes more sense gaming-wise. The Poker with PBT caps does look a hell of a lot better though IMO.

I think the original version had the ligther lettering and the revision had the much clearer lettering. Also I read the new versions has the coloring of the scroll, num, switch keys on the front instead of the top.

Looking at some pics my keycaps are alot more visible then from pics I have seen online.

I would have to agree and would love to pick up the PBT keycaps for my poker.
