Enabling Voltage control on XFX 5850

Thread Starter
I have an XFX 5850 reference card. I am able to get stable overclocks of 801/1150 with low temps with fan control @ 50%.
The XFX card does not allow voltage adjustment.
I assume this is because of the bios for the card.
I also assume that I would have to flash the card with a different bios to aloow voltage control.
I also assume if I do a bios mod to enable voltage control, it will void my warranty.
Is there any way other than bios mod to enable or control voltage adjustment on this card?

I have this one, and I'm using MSI AfterBurner for all my GPU OC'ing. I'll rule out the easy stuff first.

0. What software/program are you using to OC your GPU?
1. If MSI AB, did you make sure to enable voltage control in the "Settings" menu?

Just gotta start from scratch to make sure.

Ah yes. I did not enable voltage control in MSI Afterburner. LOL. Sometimes I wonder where my brain is located. I got it enabled. Thanks.

Haha. Don't worry about it. You'll get there sooner than you think!
