Asus 5850

Thread Starter
Helloooooo everyone

For the past month I have experience a annoying screen tearing issue whenever I extend my display, with just one display running i generally do not experience an issue. Im running 1920 x 1080 on my samsung monitor through dvi and 1366 x 768 on my samsung 32" tv through HDMI. For me, regardless of whether I use the tv or monitor on hdmi at 1080 they both produce a blurry picture. So I am stuck with my setup I guess. So after trying a different video card I actually experience an even worse affect frown.gif. What would you guys recommend? Here are my specs, thanks.

Asus Rampage 3 mobo
i7 940 CPU
6gb corsair dominator RAM
Asus 5850 TOP GPU
Samsung 23" px2370 monitor
Samsung 32" LCD tv
Windows 7 professional

And just my luck my fan controller blew out frown.gif

What kind of connection are you using for the monitor?

If using Displayport try using DVI instead. Or if you're already using DVI, switch to the other DVI port. I read the HDMI (or DP, can't remember) and one of the DVI ports share a connection on the 5000 series, which may be why.
