How can you possibly fake this =o

Mineral cooled PC'd tho besides all the obvious problems etc, they still aren't more efficient then watercooled given the same setup?...

Just had crazy idea, what about running a Sub Zero Mineral Oil (Or other liquids that are capable of Sub Zero temps) Watercooling Loop, ON a PC that is cooled by Mineral Oil??? There is no Ambient Air to create condensation, And you could have your Rad out of the mineral oil since there are no important electrical components to be damaged by the condensation.

Honestly though why not get a grease pump like for fryers at restaurants and use that to run it through a rad or something... Also why use stock fans and kill them? You could easily purchase something similar that was made to move something this thick around effeciently.

It's not mineral oil; mineral oil is colourless

Yes, they used cooking oil.

You can also use regular water cooling pumps to circulate it through an exterior radiator.

It doesn't kill the fans, just slows them down. Mine have been solid for about a year now. It does seem to mess with the tach signal, though.

It'd be cool if you stick a heatsink like this http://www.overclock.net/attachments...2_37071979.jpg on the cold side of a tec, then submerge it into the mineral oil with the hot side of the tec outside the mineral oil, maybe being cooled with a water loop or something. I bet since most of the time the pc will be in idle, you can build up a nice buffer of coldness in the mineral oil. ie- lets say you have it idling while you're at work, you might have a nice sub-zero oil mix when you get home, lol. You'd have to go fanless though.
