asus P8p67 pro problem; what next?

Hi,
i recently bought asus p8p67 pro and after a week it stopped working ie it doesnt switch on at al,thers no display at alll..only the DRAM_LED and CPU_LED blinks...

After searching over net i found many p8p67 pro users have faced the same problem...

i gave it to the service center and they have given me an option to replace it with a new motherboard of the same or higher value...
now i am looking for a new asus mobo (either p8p67 pro rev 3.0 or p8z68 v pro or p8p67 pro rev 3.1)

Can you all please suggest me a new mobo based on the issues/bugs ,price and perfomance?

Also if someone can tell me the difference between p8p67pro rev 3.0 and p8p67 pro rev 3.1

I have the P8Z68-V Pro and although I don't have much use for the extra features like the SSD caching and onboard graphics capability I can tell you that it is an excellent board. Well worth the money.

Very stable for me so far and if overclocking is your thing then it has lots to offer.

I should also mention that the third PCIe slot feels like a waste of time and space due to how it functions. Basically if you want to use it then it shuts down some of the onboard controllers like the 3.0 USB and something else. Can't remember what at the moment. If you plan to use third slots then this is not the board for you.

Don't let these things put you off though as they are only extras on top of what is an excellent board. Read any review that includes it in its comparisons and it usually comes out on top.

As for the P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1. I can only assume that they have addressed some of the issues the board may have been having. The problem you have had may be fixed but to find out you would need to look up the details of any fixes they may have applied. Or maybe someone here may already know.
