Yeah I'm preparing for another triangle spamfest, although some say 3d spotting has been "tweaked" in this alpha build. Apparently it requires you to be more "accurate" with your spotting.

Triangle spamfest? Is this supposed to be some problem that existed in BC2?
Personally I'd prefer a system that shows the enemy only to those who have a line-of-sight view of said player, but regardless it's an important system to make up for lack of real communication in these games.

Probably the people in the military that say that are POGs or Hollywoods.

Yes, apparently something along the lines of that has been implemented. I heard it in an alpha commentary, can't find the link.

I myself don't have a problem with 3d spotting. I play tactically I never camp, I use cover, I know what can be wallbanged and what can't, I know it takes at least 4-5 seconds for the spot to wear off if you aren't respotted and are behind cover. And for the record - I abuse the hell out of it rofl.

The problem is it turns into something of the likes of that video a few posts back. Think Valp rush defenders at the 3rd set of MCOMs.

The visuals are great, but I'm really amazed by the sound. It is way better than any shooter I've heard.

thanks for clearing that up, which that is true though, i never really realised it but the guys who called it a clip were mostly people who had never actually seen combat form my understanding, just bootcamp/Officer's training and then pushing pencils

this, i enjoy Hardcore a lot more, mostly for the fact taht you dont have to empty the gun to take someone down, generally in Harcore 2 to 3 rounds will take them, like in real life. Plus the sidearms are actually usefull in Hardcore
