Hey guys,

Today while i was reading Engadget i saw they refreshed the mac mini's

http://www.engadget.com/2011/07/20/a...lt-amd-radeon/

My girlfriend is getting ready to buy an iMac and i'm trying to save her some money by getting an mac mini and a nice display.

What i need is a monitor 24" or under that rivals an apple display. Or just a spectacular monitor that would look great with osx for under $300.

Thanks a ton guys.

You can't really find displays that rival mac displays for 300 dollars at 24"

However, the 23" dell ultrasharp U2311h is one of the best choices for a monitor at that size. Good for practically anything from fast paced gaming to photo editing to watching movies.

The 24" model costs a bit more. It's called the dell U2410, and is probably not worth it over the U2311h.

You could also look at the following displays, if you still want something that can rival and beat apple displays.

Dell U2211h
Dell U2311h
HP ZR22W
HP ZR24W
NEC EA232WMi / NEC EA231WMi
